A new home for us
Blog post January 2021
Well I found my blogger account so here is my update
We are dividing our time between Nowra NSW and Townsville
QLD and this will go on for some time as we are caretakers for a property in
NSW and the weather here is so much milder than Townsville in summer. You would think we are used to humid tropical
heat after years in the Tropics but we find it very hot as we age.
I have had a great time recently setting up in the new house
and it has reminded me of how good it was each time we travelled to a new
country and set up home - making new friends and learning new things about the
place and the people
So far in the Shoalhaven Region we have visited Kangaroo
valley, Shoalhaven Heads, Geroa, Gerringong, Berry, Worrigee, Greenwell Point, Callala
Beach and Vincentia. This has been fun and we are staying in this safe zone so we
can cross borders later.
I am cooking and swimming and reading which are all important
to me and loving the place I am in. I was once told ‘Always love the one you’re
with and love the place you are in’ to keep happy. Fortunately that has been
very easy to do
Best regards to all
Robyn
